My Background

As a licensed counselor based in Colorado, I've embraced the vibrant Boulder Area as my home for over a decade, drawn by its natural beauty and the community's strong emphasis on holistic well-being.

My therapy practice is enriched by a diverse background that includes craniosacral and myofascial bodywork, educational roles with Goally in supporting families navigating ADHD and Autism with assistive technology, and hands-on experience in homeless outreach. This blend of expertise informs a therapy approach that is both straightforward and deeply empathetic, emphasizing the value of tailored care and authentic connections.

My practice is dedicated to empowering people through their unique health and emotional challenges, guiding them towards a fulfilling life. I specialize in addressing a broad spectrum of women's health through counseling & EMDR, including:

  • Navigating Cancer Treatment and Embracing Recovery: Offering guidance and support through the emotional and psychological challenges of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and the journey towards recovery, focusing on resilience and empowerment.

  • Managing Health-Related Anxiety: Assisting in coping with the anxieties and fears associated with health concerns, medical procedures, and the uncertainty of diagnoses, fostering a mindset of calm and control.

  • Healing from Complex Relational Trauma: Providing a safe and nurturing space to heal from deep-seated traumas, including childhood abuse, neglect, impact of adoption, and other prolonged or repeated experiences, with a path towards restoration and peace.

  • Supporting Perinatal Mental Health: Specializing in the unique mental health needs of women during pregnancy and the postpartum period, offering compassionate support for challenges such as postpartum depression, anxiety, PTSD from a traumatic birth, and the emotional adjustments to motherhood.

  • Healing from Sexual Trauma: Providing a trauma-informed approach to support survivors of sexual trauma, focusing on healing, reclaiming agency, boundaries, and building resilience in a safe and confidential environment.

  • Addressing Body Image Concerns: Offering guidance and strategies to combat negative body image and improve self-esteem, fostering a healthier and more positive relationship with one's body and self

When not in the therapy room, I find joy and tranquility in fly fishing, travel, and hiking, pursuits that offer me a sense of peace and adventure.
